A lecture-performance discussing cultural debts and financial desires. The performance investigates the story of the crisis in Greece, a story driven by desire that, although manifested as a complex system of money transactions, has created a currency of melancholy in contemporary Europe. The light design aimed to present the piece as a contemporary artefact, contrasting the clean lighting style of a museum, with the atmospheric light of the romantic painters.
